This year’s appeal is dedicated to Trish Gilbert, Fair Hill International’s (FHI) founder and President, and the values to which she devoted her life.
In 1989, Trish was part of a small group of event organizers looking for a new location for the Chesterland Three-Day Event. After considering several locations, they reached out to the Fair Hill Natural Resources Management Area and found the perfect location for a world class event. Thus, Fair Hill International was born.
Through Trish’s leadership, FHI is now a nationally- and internationally-recognized, top-tier venue for three-day eventing, endurance, and carriage driving competitions. Her success at Fair Hill International, Inc. led directly to the selection of Fair Hill as the site for the Maryland 5 Star.
Trish saw the linkage between her equine passions and the significant benefits to our community, the development of young people, and the enrichment of lives - both young and old. She saw how the beauty of Fair Hill can build a lifelong appreciation for preserving open spaces and natural resources.
We seek your support for Fair Hill International’s efforts to remain the organization of which Trish was proud. We appreciate any and all donations.
