WHAT IS EVENTING?
Eventing (aka Horse Trials) is best described as an equestrian triathlon. The sport originated as a cavalry test and is comprised of three phases: dressage, cross-country, and show jumping.

- Horse Trials take place either near the Cecil County Fair Grounds (GPS address 4640 Telegraph Rd, Elkton, MD) or off of Gallaher Rd (GPS address 750 Gallaher Rd, Elkton, MD). Please look at the specific event on the Horse Trials page under the Competitors tab for location.
